I used to walk past with my old man but as he was not one of us I never even knew we played there until a long time after it got knock down. Looked a shite hole. Should we not be going for more than 108:000 cap?

Did anyone else go to watch the Rebels speedway team. I use to go when they restarted in the mid 70's and they won the title in the 2nd or third season but shut down because they couldnt make enough money, some great nights with the bikes roaring round under the floodlights and Gordon Kennet who was the star rider of the dayits New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
