What Would Be You Team Selection V Blackburn Rovers?

If we play with one holding midfielder it is a really tough call between Derry and Faurlin.
Faurlin is the progressive player, and will continue to improve as he gets older, but for me is sometimed a bit lost and panicky in defence, distribution is good but his tackling isn't as good as Derry as he tends to defend more as a shield, or zonal.
Derry on the other hand somehow knits the team all together, he's a real pro, does simple passes and keeps possession better than anyone, but can be a bit reckless with his trailing leg when tackling which will get him bookings. But he is not getting any younger, so yes maybe a rest is a good idea, especially for this game.
My biggest fear is that I get the impression that Faurlin needs the support of Derry beside him, like a captain, and he may not be as good if Derry isn't there, and he could start making mistakes?
Tricky one, but still reckon start with Derry until he gets booked, then sub him with Faurlin.

I think he deserves a chance, and has played well whenever he's been given a go this season.
Tidy finisher too.
I'd go as far to say he's one of the most natural finishers in the squad at the momentWin or lose, on the booze

Got to be this line up -
Kenny
Young Ferdinand Hall Traore
Derry Faurlin
SWP Taarabt DJ
HH
Gabbidon is still injured, Warnock has said Perone won't play a further part this season unless he gets to know the English game better, Barton is sh*te at the moment and Bothroyd is the new Hulse.
Even with this team I think we'll struggle. Blackburn will be right up for this to save their managers job, hope I'm wrong.22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

If we were to play 4-4-2, the problem is where to fit Adel in? If he played wide left, it would leave Traore with no back up, cos in a formation like that both wide midfield men HAVE to track back and work hard too! Would Adel do that? No, I don't think so either!
Therefore, the only other option or position he can play is as a central striker? Let's face it he can't do any bloody worse than Bothroyd! And if I remember rightly, didn't he more or less play in that position last season v/s Cardiff away? Scoring those 2 wonder goals?
I personally would love us to go 4-4-2, making us more solid across the park, and definitely playing 2 up front (especially at home) is a must from now on! If you don't score goals you won't win matches, and to have the 6th top goalscorer in the Prem from last season in our squad and not playing him is a farce! DJ must play!
My starting X1 for the Blackburn 'must win' game is :
--------------------------------------------Kenny----------------------------------------------------
Young-----------------------Ferdinand-------------Gabbidon-----------------------------Traore
Wright-Philips---------------Barton----------------Faurlin---------------------------------Smith
------------------------------Campbell--------------Taarabt---------------------------------------
If Gabbidon is still not fit, then Connolly must be given a chance ahead of Hall. He was awfull v/s Fulham last weekend, and should be let nowhere near a first team starting berth in future.
With a bench including Buzsacky, Mackie and Helgusson there certainly is option to change to go even more attack minded if Neil has to.
Come on You R'rrssss!!!!!
