13 goals in one european season (still a record for a british player i think), scored in 8 consequative seasons for rangers, the great brian clough saw fit to buy him, without doubt the best we`ve ever had and i feel privilaged to have watched him at his peak1

saw them both from beginning to end..
marsh was better all round player
two footed, good in the air, physical
and dont forget he played with average players and won games on his own
the 1966/67 season was the rodney marsh show..
stan had better players alongside him
wonderful talents both though

Undoubtedly has to be Stan the man. saw both play, and Marsh was a real showman that could do things with a ball some players would never be able to do, and was the catalyst for Rs to become the club we are, especially his performance in the League cup Final in 67. But Stan's craft vision and ability was magnificent and truly the better team player, and the majority of it at the very highest level.
But for me QPRs greatest & best all round player was a Mr Gerry Francis truly fantastic!

I sometimes wonder would Bowles have been a better player now with the training, diets and no drinking regimes or would this have caused him to lose the magic.
LeTissier mentioned something similar the other day on Soccer Saturday. He couldn't do what the youth players are now asked to go through.

Stanley's the one for me, he's who i grew up watching. Although all i have seen is clips of Rodnee (being too young for him) so i can't really give a real opinion apart from who i saw.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Our Rodney gets my vote. He scored on average every other game, and made the game look easy. He was an entertainer, and a very clever intelligent player who could read the game well.
