Didnt see marsh play so for stan really is the man! Asked my dad les who is 84 and he reckons marsh was the better , 2 footed and good in the air , unlike stan whos mostly left footed and not known for his heading powers! Still stan was the best player I ever saw in a rangers top!LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH.... ALSO KNOW AS BRENTFORD FANS

this question
this question always asked of me
and i know what the answer must be................I love the stupidity of stanley
who excelled in his stupidity
but theres only one man who captivated us in history
and that was the legand of rod erney
he could pass the ball from foot to foot
a 40 yard pass on the shilling he could put
there could never be another hot rod
in football terms he was a god
i once saw him tear a team to shreds, they just couldnt defend
and there goalkeepeer was a mental wreckin the end
watch him pass the ball..............,boy it would bend
so thats just my point of you
its difficult to know if its true
but in my life ive been so impressed
by the stylish marsh,he was so smartley dressed
the problems started where stanley goes
if he got nervous he would pick his nose
he never had the panache of marsh, the bermondsy kid who likes to bath
so please dont compare these players again,STAN BETTER THAN ROD YOUR HAVING A LAUGH

Bowles.
Did it consistently at the top end of the highest level for year after year and excelled in our European run.
Marsh put our name on the map and won us our only trophy but missed most of our one year up in 68/69 and never really did the business for Man City either.

my 1st game was a 0-1 defeat at home rodney played but i grew up sitting on top of the cafe in the loft and let me tell u stan was the man, no one will ever take that away from him and he had time for the fans.... i`d walk a million miles for one of your goals oh stanley
