Very true. I remember going there when there was an running track around pitch, early '70s IIRC, so I was wondering the same thing, why don't they just redevelop the current stadium?

Cos there a pain in the fkin arris, know they can't get anymore fans where they are so they move somewhere else and nick a few from that area, hate the lot of em and can't wait til Sunday week.

Does make me laugh that a side that regularly have empty seats at Champions league games are trying to convince people they need a bigger capacity.... would that be for the pinacle of football that is the league cup then?

Yes they'd fill a bigger ground 10 times a season maybe, but the rest... no chance unless they drastically reduced their prices, which can't happen given the wages they are commited to and the rulings coming in.

heard from a chelsea fan at work that the police and health and safety
will not allow 55,000-60,000 (capacity cfc want to extend to) onto the
fulham road as this is the only main road to tube station, chelsea even asked for a tube line to be built just for matchdays and the london underground turned it down.
