The BBC has already announced that Television Centre, its iconic Shepherd’s Bush headquarters, is up for sale, and Mr Thompson will say today that the broadcaster plans to exit West London entirely, with the sale of its White City building. Queen’s Park Rangers, the Premier League football club, is in negotiations over a move to the site.

Ideal. Westfield right there, loftus road a stones throw away, tube stations are nearer. Plus we could easily fit a 30-40k stadium there, with room to expand if need be. Are they taking about the site where the.big building with the Tesco underneath it is?

Don't exactly know but it would be great to have the bit of land right where the old white city stadium was, returning back there would be great,

they are talking about the old bbc centre on wood lane, the old round looking building, the one on the old white city site is quite new and i could not see that being pulled down, it will just be sold off as offices,

Plus 3-4 years planning & build. So approx 7-8 years.

Hmmm not so excited now. I wanted it built by the Chelsea game so we could show off.

The White City Building is the Tesco Express end of the BBC...nice bit of space there and not listing buildings to worry about
