  • The Adel Taarabt appreciation thread

He is the most exciting player we have had in decades.

Would be gutted if he left in Jan. Here's why....

Nobody, well, no sane people that know what theyre talking about, are doubting Adel's ability on the field. In fact, most are praising his perfrmances this year. Its his attitude and "I can do what i like" mentality thats frustrating and unacceptable.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

NW don't seem too fussed though Matty, looking in from the outside anyway.

but for the width of a post he would have had 3 goals by now..
no one else is looking likely to score..
that possibility of a bit of magic is why he is worth the trouble..

No one doubts the guys ability. I am surprised at how annoyed some are though. I mean it's no where near as bad as his antics at hull.

At the end of the day, if Warnock can handle him and he is contributing on the pitch then we'll need him more this season than he needs us.

But I do get the impression that Warnock has favourites.

Just watching them videos you forget just how strong he is when on the ball. I think adel is a fantastic player and let's be honest if he was perfect on and off the pitch we wouldn't have him. When he is on form, he is worth the price of a ticket alone

I think this is a good point. I was getting half brought round by the "get rid of him" views this week but he has been brilliant for us but we probably won't appreciate how much until he's gone.

I lie it when NW is focusing on his positive side rather than his negative ones ...

HEs played really well this season , passing when he should , some killer through balls , unlucky not to have at least one goal.

He really has mugged himself off again as if any of the bigger clubs were going to look at him he would have put them off, just like at Hull last year!

You can't be that type of player without an attitude it's that arrogance that makes them who they are, his performances this year been really good the only criticism I would have of him
So far Is that there are times he passes to much , would like to see him runninginto the area at defenders , he won a lot of penalties last year , he seems to be taking the phrase pass to literally this season,

The guy has had three really good games this season, but no player is bigger than the club, so if he goes in January, he goes. Hopefully he stays and carries on the way he has been playing since the takeover.

I was surprised to hear about him leaving Fulham at HT, everything about his play this season smacks of a player who has matured and realised that the team is no longer built around him.... i thought it was a massive coup to keep him. Hopefully this is a blip....

Wonder which bit of that will be given the greatest emphasis.
