Comment at the end of the daily mail article from a random footy fan....

"Squad player gets sent off for two honest, but mistimed tackles. Neil Warnock destroys him in the media and fines him two weeks wages. 'Star' player abandons his team at half time, goes home in a huff - no problem. Double standards much?"

NW never fined Armand Traore anything. That was all in jest, just him making a point he was unhappy. As if the PFA would allow him to fine a player for a silly tackle late on in the match which luckily never actually cos us because we was one nil down and still managed a draw.

Come on people for god sake. Is it too hard for some people to work out the difference between the truth and a rag filling paper space.

Wouldn't get away with it, players agents would complain to pfa ad prem league plus other team mates will back the player. 2 weeks wages for 2 yellows stupid or not is madness. I thought Warnock was wrong to say that.

For the record players can be fined for anything from yellow cards to not wearing the correct attire on match days. Pfa wouldn't get involved in anything like that its part of club discipline.

As Dazzer said though Traore never got fined & nor did Anton Ferdinand who Warnock claimed would be fined for running 40 yards to confront the ref after Wolves.

            All Warno kidology.

Im sure Traore did get fined as NW said in last weeks press conference, that he suspended half of it.

                I don't believe him.

Coming across as an iron fist manager when in reality he would of put an arm round Traore and put him straight on what's expected in the 90th minute.

Would do him, Traore or squad morale absolutely no favours at all if players were fined for things so petty.

From my understanding both Ferdinand and Traore were given suspended fines.
Happens to a lot of players over the course of the season. Basically neither will pay a penny and 99% of players don't as they wise up and don't repeat the act again.

All suspended fines are cleared at the end of the season, players go through the campaign knowing if they make the same mistake again they'll get the fine, so they don't make the same mistake again and become a better player as a result. Everyone's happy.
