  • Adel Taarabt tells SSN that he never left craven cottage at HT

What do we all think about this?
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

I saw that last night. Well it is bull. Because I know people who actually saw him outside just after half time.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Am I the only one that doesn't really care? I would have been disappointed if it was, say, Shaun Derry, but I've never really seen Taarabt as a team player and I thought we had all long accepted that. The idea of him standing at a bus stop on Fulham Palace Road in his tracksuit midway through the second half is more amusing to me than anything else.

There is a picture to prove it somewhere, pictures don't lie.

Adel Taarabt had to ask fans for score updates after storming out of Craven Cottage. The Rangers midfielder headed towards a pub before meeting fans at a bus stop.

Is the photo timed? Doesn't prove anything. Yes he was at the bus stop, but was it just after half time? Personally not bothered, its childish, but at least he cared about being subbed.

Equally, how do we know that he didn't just go for a walk to calm down, got some attention and agro so legged it. Photo proves nothing

Agree with mork and 2touch. Photo doesn't prove anything.

Well Kerry Smith states she left at 4-0 and found him there. So it's PROVE. How much more prove do you want? haha

Could not care less - would be great if he actually spend the time running/training instead of moaning in the stands during second half. He is never going to turn a 0-3 game around for us anyway. As long as it is not bothering his team mates - who should know him by now - I am not bothered the least.

I would imagine the denial means that the club or his agent are trying to protect his transfer value.

Probably walked out of the stadium at HT, cooled off, and went back in.
