  • Poor Bothroyd

I feel that Wanock is not utilising him properly. I mean he scored 20 goals last season for god's sake. How on hell he is not used as striker? Time to change tactics and use him with DJ uprfont. We suffer lack of goal scoring. We have only scored one goal at home it was even an own goal. Something needs to be sorted out.

Understand that, but how many shots has he had? his main role has been holding the ball up to others. Are they strikers?

He does start as a striker, he is the focal point with two either side, he does drop into midfield to hold the ball up, but he is our striker. Playing the same role as Helguson last year.

I'd actually play him on the wing as this is where he's most dangerous (like that goal against us), if not that then 4-4-2 with him and DJ up front.

how long will it be before Warnock goes back to basics and puts Mackie in an advanced middle role to make our attacking option more threatening. It would not surprise me if he had Derry and Barton with mackie playing ahead of them as an attacking midfielder

think they could be a very handy strike force tbf. With the likes of SWP, Barton & Adel supporting too.

Not once has Neil played 4-4-2 as QPR manager. I can't see him about to change now...but you never know.

                    no goals
                    few shots on target
                    few headers won
                    few assists
and you still want him in the side??

£55k a week and little back so far, it's dj time for sure and maybe some more passion from mackie...he's had a long run and done nothing, he's a forward, forwards score goals...his body language is poor, shoulders down and not chasing back. drop him and see if it motivates him cos right now as a club we need to start scoring goals and winning games.

The chances he's had and been given were misses, nothing to do with defences, apparently he's a goalscorer, so should have scored those.

Enough is enough, surely Neil can see that.

Not scoring is the least of our problems when we let in 4 and 6 to two below average teams.

He could have scored 5 on Sunday and we would still have lost. Yes, my math is powerful.

Looking like that I'm afraid,NW will need to bring in a couple of strikers in January

                              I don't agree entirely.

It's probably true that Warnock is not making best use of Bothroyd. but he has had decent scoring chances in some of the games he has played this season.

He could have scored 3 at home to Newcastle, but was either too slow to react or his connection with the ball was too weak.

But I would like to see QPR play 4-4-2 at home to Blackburn.

I dont think QPR need to play Derry and Barton alongside Faurlin and depending on his attitude, Taarabt can be left out too and replaced with either Buzsaky, Smith or even Mackie - how ironic would it be for him to make his full return against the club he brike his leg.
