  • January transfer window.. who do you buy?

    for me the priorities are:

bassong, another CM, Left winger & striker.

faurlin for me was only one yesterday who wasn't shockingly bad. he didnt do anything 'exceptional' but he did do the simple things and always looked for the ball.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

    Exactly that mate.

Having a look at our fixtures, IMO, between now and the turn of the year, we will pick up another 12 points, giving us 20 come Jan 1st. If we can get this amount, it will hold us in good stead for the 2nd half of the season, especially with some new faces brought on board to shore us up abit.

Zamora. Plus a left winger too maybe and we have ourself a very strong side.

Agreed, Zamora would be a great signing.

            im not convinced we're:

            a) playing barton in a position which suits his abilities
and 2. if he still has the desire to perform. i have seen nothing yet.

Maybe Barton and Faurlin need to play together and perhaps Derry is nearing the end of the road (I know many will say "if you drop Derry, why not Barton as he has played at least as badly if not worse of late" but I simply dont think Warno will drop him).

derry was poor yesterday but barton for me was more non-existant.

I think weve got the same problem as England have had for years trying to get 3 central midfielders to place in the same team,Derry and faulin were ok last season but if we play with them 2 Barton plays wide and looks shite,im sorry but i think think Derry must get dropped and play Barton and Faulin in the middle.

                    CB & a DM destroyer.

Derry hasn't done much wrong but we can't expect him to play and star every week. Should be a late sub to protect a lead as often as starting.

Bassong, Owen, Park-ji-sung (loan), and Kranjcar on loan
"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

Before thinking of any extra striker. Is Warnock willing to change tactics and start with 2 strikers?

First priority is Bassong for me, then maybe a front man. Owen on loan would be amazing!! Another midfielder would be last on my list, but i can see the argument because we have little depth.
