  • My Two Pennies worth.....

may not agree, but im so angry right now that its going to make me feel a bit better!!!

the players just didnt turn up and in a derby game, the first for however many years it is simply not good enough for the players to put in a performance like that and they let us and the club down bigtime.

tickets were £49 each which is a rip off seeing as the view from the stand is awful. if i looked straight ahead of me i was looking at the side of the fulham fans. to watch the match we had to constantly look sideways and for 49 pounds that is awful. Plus the height difference between the rows is so low that you can barely see past the people in front!

i think the fans were let down big time today, and for warnock to come out and blame it on injuries is ridiculous imo. We had just ONE first team player missing from the Villa game and he has the cheek to blame it on injuries, especially seeing how he sent Hill out on loan. he basically just said he hasnt shouted at the players for that, but im sorry, they need a rocket up their arses if that is how they perform in a local derby.

our defence was a shambles from start to finish - and we cant blame it on injuries seeing as three of the four started the villa game, and we have had all week to work on luke young playing at left back as we knew traore was going to be out.

not a single player played well, and none would be rated above a 5 out of 10. we looked like a new team today, one who hasnt gelled yet = but how can that be seeing as we have done very well since they all came in?

however, the only people to turn up today were the fans - awsome from start to finish. we expected alot more from the players but we never stopped singing even at 6-0 down. but the fulham fans really were an embaressment to their 'club'. they only cheered when they scored and a few of them spent time filming our fans singing! joke of a club.

but i cant believe how our players lost 6-0 in a local derby game. truly shocking.

im not blaming this loss on one player, but imo for the sake of the teams performance we need to drop Bothroyd at the moment. Alot of the play breaks up with him and he has numerous chances to get a shot at goal but either mis controlled it, passed it to a fulham player, or fell on his ####. Get Helguson in there!

but imo we really do need to change from our regular 4-2-3-1 for certain games. we clearly needed 2 strikers today as one just was not working at all.

and we now have 2 weeks to sit on this result in what looks like a must win game v blackburn seeing as we have chelsea, spurs and man city after that.

Bothroyd is on thin ice but he was getting a lot of lumped up balls into the box. What are you supposed to do with them when you've got no strike partner?

I agree playing on his own isnt helping. But he keeps falling over for such a big guy and had a few decent opportunities to shoot but either passed it to a fulham player or completley scuffed it.

      We simply cannot afford that.

But as I said, im not blaming this on him. That would be totally unfair. The whole 11 players out there today were shocking.

I would have thought Connolly was meant to be playing left back up and till saturday's training so that would mean Young would not have trained all week at left back.

Still no excuse for the shower of S**T I had to watch today.
