I think the worst of it was we or at least I expected us to win, or at least thought we would.I read a piece on here by other poster, where he said typical Rangers big away support and expectation , and they let us down again.
    Well put I thought.

Perhaps we got too content after grabbing a late point against Villa and beating both Everton and Wolves away......

I thought a draw was the worst thing that could happen as Fulham usually do not score that many goals. I guess the little win Fulham had midweek against a - on the day - weak Danish team really gave them and specially Andy Johnson the morale boost they needed to see us off in 20 mins.

+1 We had beaten them 5 nil or something like that in the league the week before and most of us were confident of a win! I flew over from Canada for this one, was my first time at Wembley, great atmosphere and anticipation! Rangers came out of the tunnel full of confidence, jumping around, they looked ready! Oxford came on to the pitch quiet, looking scared I thought! Well the rest is history!

Oxford away. We lost 4-1 with Jurgen Sommer in goal.

Still for me losing to Cardiff in that play-off final.

Southend away in LDV. My local team and a total embarrassment.

Oh - and the 5-0 or whatever it was in the league the season after at their place - pathetic display.

Good shout. The circumstances and the amount that was at stake made that a right gutter.

                    Quite a few for me

Sunday's game is now one of the worst along with Vauxhall motors, Middlesbro' 1-5, 3 seasons back, southampton away first game of the season and dave seaman's debut lost 5-1, colin clarke got a hat trick for saints 86/87 season , Oxford utd milk cup final 3-0, after beating chelsea in the quaters and liverpool in the semi's, what a complete let down that day was, huddersfiled away 2000/01 relegated to the old 3rd division (now league 1)
Arsenal 6-2 in the f.a.cup at home.
im sure there are a few more but hey, lets not get too down lads

Anyone remember a 4-0 trouncing at Swansea on a sunday in the FA cup that was on tv? Bout 10 years ago so it may have been on oracle or teletext but it was still bad.

I obliterate bad games from my memory though I remember a heavy 4-0 defeat at Orient vividly for some resaon. In terms of worse I still smart at the 3-0 loss to Oxford in League Cup Final.... what a total non-performance that was!
