  • How do we respond?

Obviously very disappointed with today's performance and result,BUT it shouldn't suddenly be all doom and gloom, for me survival is all that matters this season, and I still think we have enough about us to do that, especially with a few coming in this January. What is way more important now is how we respond, beat Blackburn is the next game and this horrible defeat will be forgotten but people who think we will have 40 points by January are just deluded, and maybe today's result will bring some down to earth.

Are you 12 or what,I couldn't care less if I'm "getting on your #### ",just saying it's time to be level headed, and saying we will have 40 points(easily as you state in your thread)is just plain daft

so you have to be over 12 to go to QPR, perhaps 40 would be better

Good Post Rebel R. If the fans fall apart now what will we be like after Chelsea, Spurs and City!

I'm hurting like the rest of us but Survival is the key this season.

Well have 20 by turn of the year.... at best.

Blackburn is a must win game now, alot hinging on it with the run of games we have after wards.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

we need to look at the good things from the games v Wolves and Newcastle and compare it to Fulham and try to fathom out what was so different.

Apart from the obvious defense problems of missing Traore and Gabbidon, and Young on the wrong side, I think we are mixing it up too much in midfield with SWP, Tarbs and Barton swopping positions far too often. Keep SWP out on the right wing ffs, we are new to the PL and trying to run before we can walk.

In midfield its about instinctively knowing where the support might be, and the link up play, but we don't stay in the same positions for long enough to see if it works, or get an understanding, because we're constantly changing it around. Once we get good at keeping our basic structure, then we can experiment, but we're doing it too early, and we got a lesson from an experienced prem team who make us look niave.
