  • So frustrating no game on sat

I don't know about you guys but find it annoying don't play on sat , I know pl and all that but during footie season feels like your missing out, of our next few games most are on Sunday
    Anyone else feel the same?

Yup,me too,i am very much a saturday afternoon footie supporter and this is the one thing i hate about the PL,very much at a loose end and the missus keeps banging on about shopping, hate it and i will go off to local game to get out the way,we seem to be in line for more games to be moved and it just isn't the same watching all those results on a saturady come in without the R's....

I don't like games on Sunday, as I feel I need a day to get over it, instead of which I have to go to work the next day!
At least it's a 3pm KO tomorrow -- didn't get home till gone 8 last Sunday, and it feels like you've got very little of the evening left.

I am in a lucky position where if we don't play Saturdays I go in to work from 8-12 if I want and get paid as well as getting lieu time so can take the Monday off if I want afterwards

Today was great as I put in my football bets and had a great pub crawl through Richmond and St Margarets plus grabbed a slice of Hollow Wookey Cheddar from a lovely independent cheese shop on the way

Still prefer a Saturday 3pm kick off of course but a Sunday game in London ain't too bad

Swings and roundabouts... travel into and around London should be marginally less hectic on a Sunday than on a Saturday. But, agreed, Sat 3PM is the original and best.

Oddly enough, coming from Kent across London, Sunday seems to be the day when they put all the roadworks up and close quite a lot of roads in the city. Traffic is worse than on a Saturday for us!
Different route tomorrow for Fulham, though.

My trains in from leafy Hertfordshire are a tad less frequent on a Sunday, but St Pancras Station and the tubes should both be a little less hectic than on a Saturday. That said, I'm looking forward to this match so much that I'd happily walk over hot coals and swim through a river of **** for a week if it were needed.
