  • Time for a move

Its about time the family stand section was moved, there are always empty seats in the lower loft and it would make more sense relocating them to say the paddock (1 of) or a section of Ellerslie (R). Maybe even a possibility of relocating them to the lower school end (same view).

Once we have the whole loft as a QPR stronghold there is no doubt it would sell out, and at least people will be able to buy tickets there rather than have to worry about the stupid rule whereby you can only purchase there at the mo if you are going to be accompanying a child.
It must be so annoying for people who cannot get tickets when they hear the lower loft was half empty.

Maybe someone needs to make Tony/Amit aware of this maybe even by twitter if that's the only way.

I would be interested to hear views from someone who sits in the LL re relocating.

Couldn't see where I was in Upper, although midweek games are definately not full, well it wasn't against Newcastle. It's just the rule they have though which although I can understand why it's done it, other people miss out.

Always loads left online and the last to sell plus ST holders don't take their kids to all night games, understandable.

Yea defo an issue that needs resolving. Our traditional home end should be a fortress every single game.

Don't fancy a load of screaming kids in R though if I'm honest as that's where I sit.

Worst place in the stadium for family stand is the Loft. Not new news.

Can't change mid season very easily.

We do need to seriously get this raised with the club.

Would you relocate though, to say the loft or elsewhere if it meant getting back the loft for all R's?
And do you reckon many around you would mind?

I have to agree, the Paddocks are the best area for that. It would be nice if we could generate an atmousphere either side of the away fans, but that ain't gonna happen.

Why do we need a family stand ?

There are plenty of kids in SAR.

We don't. Kids are same price/free anywhere - it is just so they have an environment where there is less likely to be aggressive behavious/language etc. I think all clubs have it and there is good case to have one. Just not there.

I think that the Family section should be in the Paddock. One good reason is that there are only 6 or 7 rows to the front so the mascots could interact with more of the children. Maybe Jude could entertain the West Paddock and Sparks the East Paddock :pleasantsuprise:

Yes, we should have a family area but not in the Loft. It obviously can't be changed now till next season so plenty of time to sort it out. I'm sure season ticket holders could be persuaded to relocate if given a discount. Let's make the Loft our fortress again.

If they can erect a cover over the school lower end ...best there. The kids can drown out the away upper !
