  • Lack of goals per chances created at home...

Do you think that our inability to convert chances at LR will ultimately cost us dear or, once the strikers start scoring we'll be up and running?

For me it is worrying that we have been so dominant in the first half of the last 2 home games but yet have failed to win either... in the 2nd half of both matches we seem to have either run out of steam or been sussed out...

    Thoughts please folks???

As it stands it hasn't cost us & NW is no fool he knows we need to start putting chances away. Although we have looked so strong last 2 games I don't see him tinkering to accommodate DJ which is a catch 22 really. He will bring goals for sure but can't do what Jay does but how many games do we have to see Jay miss guilt edged chances before Warnock is forced to change it?

Sooner rather than late for me. Delighted with Jay's contributions thus far but do think we need that sharp fox in the box type player to get on the end of the quality balls we are now seeing coming into the box on many occasions at the moment.

I agree and HH looked really good, wouldn't mind seeing him given a chance.

Let's be honest Bothroyd is not up to it at this level, his hold up play and flick ons etc are good out side the box, but as soon as he gets near the goal he freezes. No killer instinct.

Also I felt as he walked off on Sunday his confidence is draining fast. DJ needs a chance but NW would have to change formation as DJ doesn't hold it up. In a way 442 would lead to more goals for us, but no room for one of Barton, Faurlin, Derry, SWP and Adel.

Maybe NW will change the formation when Adel goes to the African cup?
