      they HAVE to chuck some out, maybe your turn...they have to justify their jobs and sometimes they get busy
      over in SAR, they get busy every other game
      one day a real punch up will start and they will get a proper kicking cause many will turn on them.
      standing is a no but is commonplace...did they try the "please come downstairs to talk" bit, cause no one ever comes back up!

          go dressed as a steward next time. You will find you are less likley to get kicked out. And sometimes you can get in free.

            Yeh I saw that yesterday, joke especially when everyone around at the back was standing and prefer to stand! I was to the right of you but didn't get asked to sit, but ended up sitting cos of a little lad behind me, but if people ain't complaining why be a jobsworth!!!

              I would suggest that the senior steward probably got a little message on the radio from the stadium control room that went along the lines of "try to get them sat down" - they may well have had a visit from the licensing team from Hammersmith and Fulham in the ground. Easier to try and get areas of the ground sat down and complying with the licence for games like Villa rather than the likes of Chelsea, United, Spurs or Arsenal where emotions run higher.
