I saw a programme about Les recently where he said perhaps he should have left QPR sooner but he loved playing for us.

When Francis left, Wilkins only took the job on the proviso Les wouldn't be sold. He was due to go to Man Utd and they signed Andy Cole instead.

The selling of Les and the wasted 6million spent on bad signings was the beginning of the downfall of the R's IMO. That's history now and here we are, possibly back in Top six tonight, happy days!

He always been a spurs fan but he does want us to do well and he did give 10k once to help us out when we needed money so could be said he does support us as his 2nd team.
