They couldn't do that. PL regulations.

Host clubs are obliged to offer visiting clubs a minimum of 3,000 tickets or 10% of stadium capacity, whichever is the SMALLER figure (subject to some minor alterations should the Safety Advisory Groups quibble). Then completely up to the visiting club's discretion whether they wish to take the whole allocation. Chelsea have to offer 3,000 tickets to visiting clubs. We are obliged only to provide 1,850 tickets to visiting clubs as a MAXIMUM.

gone are the days when we would be lucky to have 3,000 at LR and all sides filled with the s**m giving it large:rage:
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

But you can't get two seats together for the Villa game and you couldn't for Newcastle either. Fine if you're going on your own but if you want to go with your mates or take your kids, you can't.

yeh they need to change that family stand rule, i think if there are still tickets available a couple of days before the game anyone should be able to buy them.

And as Park says we can't sell our own bloody seats out so why shouldn't the board want to maximise their revenue by guaranteeing a sell out to our knuckle dragging neighbours.

              No brainer!!

              Can't wait.

The ground should be Rangers at both ends. We'd sell out for this game easily. We'd get 3k anyway at their ground.

Just gives them an advantage having their fans in both tiers.

Rangers have messed up here big time.

It was clearly stated that for all games this season it would be Rangers in the bottom tier. Who cares if it's not full up. Staying up and getting more points is more important. we have more chance of getting points from teams like the ****, Arsenal, Spurs and United if they had just 1 tier.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

its only a prob if you go into the ground for the game, otherwise could be fun

Well we beat 'em 6-0 when **** had both tiers so I don't see the problem.

I'm pretty sure this decision was influenced by the Police - if we give them 1.8k there would be thousands knocking about Shepherds Bush and Hammersmith esp with the Rugby world cup at 9am and the Manchester Derby at lunchtime. This way police can oversee the 3k and would be able to keep tabs on the rest.

You need a full end of away fans to really create the atmosphere ala Millwall

Millwall were given both tiers, but a reduced allocation. The **** have been given the full allocation. Just over 3k.

Also, reading on another QPR message board someone has said Spurs and United will be given both tiers.

I know it makes for a top atmosphere, but I want to see Rangers win! Having Rangers fans in the lower tier gives us more of an advantage to win and get valuable points!

I just want to stay up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wouldn't be allowed to happen, rules state that away fan allocation for league games is as follows: either 10% or 3,000 whichever is the lowest.

Chelsea would have to give us 3,000 whatever we give them.

Etc If the fans want to help the team these are the games they need to attend

we are giving them over 3 times the amount we have to. Do you think they will give us 9,000 tickets, which is 3 times what they have to?

                                I'll take bets.
