Darren Bent and Emile Heskey are set to miss out on Sunday's trip to Queens Park Rangers - and Jermaine Jenas is rated 50/50 for the Loftus Road clash.

Manager Alex McLeish revealed strike duo Bent and Heskey are still suffering from groin and hamstring injuries respectively and are doubtful for Villa's latest Barclays Premier League encounter.

But midfielder Jenas still hopes to make his debut in claret and blue at the weekend if he can complete his recovery from a kicking strain suffered shortly after joining from Tottenham Hotspur on loan last month.

"Bent is still out, Jenas is 50/50 and Heskey is still out," said McLeish.

"They are three fairly experienced players which slightly depletes the squad and makes the resources diminish a little bit.

"But we are still going to go to QPR with confidence and to try and bring back the points."

McLeish has boosted his attacking options by recalling Austrian U21 international Andreas Weimann from his loan spell at Watford.

The 20-year-old has spent the last month at Vicarage Road but returned to Bodymoor Heath today to bolster Villa's front line.

"It only takes an injury or two to a couple of forwards and all of a sudden you've only got one or two left," McLeish added.

"We've got good young players and Weimann has spent a pretty good month at Watford and at this moment in time we feel we need him."

They've just recalled a forward who was on loan at Watford as they have doubts over Bent and Hesky, which is great news for us. However Agbonglahor could cause our defence huge problems if he plays through the middle as a result.

Regardless of what team Villa put out they will not be an easy fixture.

                  01 Given
                  02 Hutton
                  03 Warnock
                  05 Dunne
                  06 Collins
                  10 N'Zogbia
                  16 Delph
                  19 Petrov
                  25 Bannan
                  09 Bent ------------out
                  11 Agbonlahor

i feel fairly confident but hopefully Given who I rate very highly will have a off day, i bet Given is the main reason why Aston Villa have not even lost yet... i mean they playing really shite! football

good news, but they still have a very good side and will definitely cause us problems. the defence is going to have to be on top of their game to handle agbonlahor, n'zogbia and petrov.

Jenas rated 50-50. Would not like to be a Villa fan coming to our fortress. And no I'm not saying we are gonna hammer em....but they do

                            Massive boost.

One of the best finishers in the country & only him & Gabby really worry me.

Losing 50% of that front 2 can only be a good thing.
