  • Now that jamie mackie is back....

Where do you fit him in?

obviously we dont put him straight in as he will have to work for his place. but ideally id see him now as more of a striker than a wide player.. but then again he can play both. good cover/competiton for bothroyd i feel. good choice to have him over agyemang.

Probably a certain sub when fully fit as he can play more or less anywhere except in goal.

Sadly I don't think Jamie is going to feature much if no fitness problems with current first team. Hard to recover from a broken leg but to also make that step up to PL fitness and oust current team members is a hell of an ask. Hope he proves me wrong though, always remember his great performances last season.

At best a sub if everyone's fit as he couldn't get in our team even on top form.

Great to see him getting close to a return fitness wise though.

Step backwards if he's in the starting line up. Good sub maybe when he comes on if he's the same.

more asking a question of the position people see him being used. id say striker over winger.

If we are chasing a game or basically just going for it, the following front three would be interesting and full of pace.

                -- SWP -- DJC -- Mackie --

We.re letting 2 full backs go out on loan we've seen Mackie play competantly at F/B ,as already posted He can play in many positions I'd say He's good all round cover

Absolutely, great cover at Right Back, Right Wing or just off the front man, very versatile.

If Tarbs goes to the African cup of nations then Mackie will have to be in the picture somewhere, especially if Dyer gets injured again. Or we could use him as an impact sub; he'll get a few goals this season for us surely

love jamie mackie but he'll be an impact sub. id still put him on the wing or just behind the striker.
