  • Next 5 games. How many points?

Next 2 home games must be very winnable, plus a point from each london derby game is a possible while in our current form. Spurs away will be tough.

    Sun 25 .....H..... Aston Villa...3
    October
    Sun 2 ...... A..... Fulham.......1
    Sat 15...... H..... Blackburn....3
    Sun 23...... H..... Chelsea......1
    Sun 30...... A..... Tottenham..0

    ----------------------------8/15 ?

Can't see many more points than 8 realistically, but should keep us above mid-table imo, then we host Man City

Not too unrealistic at all mate, but, IMO, i rekon itll be more like:

    Villa1
    Fulham 3
    Blackburn 3
    Chelsea 0
    Spurs 0

7/15 and, tbh, i would take that without doubt. would give us 14 points by end of October which isnt too bad for a side looking to survive.

Blackburn and Villa will be tougher than we think,Fulham being home will come at us which will suit us (I hope). Chelsea, think we will be really fired up,and being local derby anything can happen.Spurs not so sure, we could get something, but as you can see, not confident.
So for me 8 pts as well

Need to ask that after the villa game, cos as it stands going by the last 2 games we feel invincible but if villa brings us back down to earth then that total points would be totally different.

            Villa 3
            Fulham 3
            Blackburn 1
            Chelsea 0
            Spurs 1

Total of 8 out of a possible 15 for me

I love the optimism but the whole "not being scared of the top 4" is abit OTT really isnt it! IMO (as said above) 7 points from the next 5 games is as good as we'll get, and thats not bad at all... 14 points by October? Would have bitten your hand off if offered that at start of season!

exactly my philosophy mate. Plus anyone who thinks we will get anything against chelsea must have a screw loose or something...or spurs for that matter.
