          I've know a few of people who place stupid bets like that without knowing anything about the teams involved. They just see a name they recognise and think 'he'll score!'.

          My mate put a 3-1 bet on Stoke to beat City in FA Cup final with Carew first scorer, even though Carew he was never gonna start.

          Bookies must love these kind of punters.
