I actually really like mick. He is very down 2 earth and straight talking. He made no excuses and admitted we were the better team, that on it's own is allot more than the moaning managers that love 2 whinge and make excuses like steve bruce and wenger. If anybody cares to watch the drop ball close to the end of the game and watch Henry's unconventional style to try and win the ball, then if that is not trying to deliberately injure a fellow professional then I don't know what is. first let me commend you on your use of the word anachronistic... deffo a throw back to a bygone age where players like JACK Charlton and Chopper Harris would go out and kick lumps out of each other...

The reason why McCarthy is so vehement in his defence of KH is because he is able to empathise and identify totally with, someone of limited ability who has grafted and reached the top level through being a tough tackler and the teams nasty edge.....:yush:
