Fulham Villa n Stoke above Arsenal?!

Fair enough each to their own and all that but, IMO, Arsenal will still be top 6 no doubt about it. Very very poor start but they will come good.

What no faith in TF,Amit and NW? After we buy another 6 players in January (Bent, Van Persie, and another two or three defenders) the top six will look like this -

      Man Utd
      Man City
      QPR
      Tottenham
      Liverpool
      Newcastle
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

IMO, Arsenal are finished as a top football team this season under Wenger. The only way they will finish in the top 6, is if he is replaced with someone new.

Hi Matty thats what i love about football its all about opinions as I think Arsenal with there current squad will finish between 17th and 14th. I love Wenger as I think the football he has treated us to over the last 10 years is some of the best football i have ever witnessed. But he has called it wrong this time, his has been losing his squad over the last few years and not replacing them with the character and quality and with the loss of Fab and Nasri it is now showing.

He needs to get people who maybe not as much talented but have character e.g. winners as his team is losing the physical battle everyday now. People are not affraid of Arsenal amore, and if they go one down they still think there in with a shout. There needed Cahill / Barton as two signings but he missed out, instead played silly games games trying to get Cahill on the cheap (i think he will go to Spurs oin Jan) and being too big headed to look at Barton (we gained here).

Hope i am wrong as I still love watching them play, but as mentioned before the best players dont make the best team.

Good post mate, all valid points and can certainly see where youre coming from. As for Wenger, used to love arsenal, the way they played during the "Invincibles" era really was amazing at times! But lately ive grown sick of his excuses and the fact he can never admit they were simply beaten by a better side, was always an uneven patch of grass or a funny smell in the stadium that put his players off.

Also, the way he spoke of Shawcross after "that" tackle was, IMO, disgraceful. I cant stand the bloke and, for that, I really hope youre predicition is right and they refuse to change manager and end up languishing in the bottom half

PS: hope Cahill does go to Spurs as then we could well land Bassong!

Liverpool won't get anywhere near the top 4.

Understand Matty ! but all the top managers have that problem as it is the way they play mind games with the opposition and refs.

I just ignore him and what he says and just focus on the type of football he prduces thats the only way I can stomach most manager comments (aprt from GOD Sir NW)

17th or above this season will do me, we are playing well but like any season we will have a rough patch, I just hope it doesnt last long....

(We have a very small pool of quality, we need them all to stay fit until Jan where reinforcements can be introduced to help them out.)
