Just called up Fulham to try and get a ticket, they are not putting any on general sale apparently as have to be a member. the guy on the phone claiming that qpr oly asked for 1600 tickets rather then their full allocation of 3,000. Seems strange if true especially as this is now sold out

went down the qpr box office to get a fulham ticket friday at around 4.00 pm.
the young largish chap behind the counter told me they were sold out, when i ranted why we were only given 1600 tickets, he said that it was out of qpr hands and all down to the fulham side of things, he thinks it was police orders. mmmmm......

The ticket problem at Fulham was discussed at length on here a couple of weeks ago. The club only took 1600 as in their opinion we would not have sold 3K at £49. This decission was made before the takeover and new signings.
Up to when TF took over we the fans have been moaning at the price of home tickets so the club, who would have lost out financially if they took all 3K but sold only 2K, may have decided that if QPR fans won't pay £45 to watch at LR then no way would 3000 pay £49 for Fulham.
Dissapointing now, but if the takeover didn't happen how many would actually have paid £49?
Just a observation - fans are still moaning about ticket prices, memberships etc for LR so why are we all scrambling for every Fulham ticket available, even at £55 plus fees etc from Seatwave?22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

TF tweeted on Friday, I think, stating that we only asked for the lower allocation as the QPR management team were worried that they would be left with unsold tickets to pay for, especially when there are acres of neutral sections.
Be interesting to see what the crowd is as if Fulham will only sell to their members, that means none of the usual Korean tourists would get a ticket and their usual ticket give aways wouldn't be applicable.

As for home crowd, I'd imagine plenty of empty seats. Crispin & Tarquin will give this one a miss as their vintage peacoats would be ruined if they ran into some frightful qpr brutes.
