I am afraid such contracts will not be something of the past, but will happen again and again. And it is a pretty logic thing really. A player can negotiate certain bonuses in his contract, depending on promotion being reached, relegation avoided etc, which seems very sensible at the time the contract is made, and maybe a requirement in order to land the player. However, three years later, when the player has failed to deliver, it looks a piece of very bad business. This isn't just happening at QPR, it happens everywhere, all the time. It is actually part of football.

Problem is, i was out with his brother a few weeks ago and Rowly wants out.....warnock doesnt like him and is giving him hell but wont release him, so he's trying to engineer anything that gets him away from warnock....
i know marting and his family quite well and for years, and have played alongside both martin and adam.
forget the press....Martin is not that type of bloke...he just wants to play football but isnt being allowed too.......
You are all entitled to believe what you read in the press, but its diffrent when you know the people involved !!

Given Rowly went behind Warnock's back and running to GP would you be surprised if Warnock didn't like him? He also made a complete **** of himself at the end of season do abusing fans.
That said if he is entitled to the money then pay him up and let all parties move on.

He is entitled to the money because it is in his contract.
He hasn't been given any chance to impress in the 1st team under Warnock although this may be down to his attitude in training or a clash with the manager. Either way, he should be given his pay rise and sent on his way on loan to any club that will take him.
Same goes for Agyemang, Vine, Alberti, Pellicori, Borrowdale Cook etc. If it was me, I would pay them all off to go as they did with German. Mittal and Fernadez can afford to lose the cash, but they surely don't want to continue dragging QPR through the mud.
