Obviously, in your line of work it would be needed to report bad practice as someones life could be in danger.

Take the michael if you want, you were not there and are only reading what the Met are saying happened. I for one was happy my kids didn't get hurt and a couple of Bristol boys who came looking for a row did.

I'm saying if it wasn't for the culture of football violence, you'd be able to take your family into a pub on a matchday, and not experience what you did.

Apologies for sounding flippant, but I am sick to the back teeth, of the violent thugs that are associated, primarily with our club, but also football as a whole.

And I'm especially sickened, by the posters on this thread, if not defending their actions (although some are sailing close to it), but arguing with those hoping they get caught.

Most of football violence is handbags, and I don't give a toss if they want to punch each other till there black and blue and I have seen some of our 14 year old wannabe hard boys and there a joke just full of mouth. & this lot could come back and do the same all over again. My ex best mates mum reported her to the police once for something she had done. She had to spend a night in a cell. Then her mum came back and collected her as she wanted her to be taught a lesson.

If they were taking a plank of wood to someones head, yes I probably would.

I would hope that nobody arguing against 'grasses', ever is on the end of a crime that requires witnesses to step forward.
