  • Any news on ST refunds at all? Seems to have gone all quiet.

Haven't heard anything since they said at the beginning that they were reducing matchday prices and giving st refunds, well matchday prices have been reduced but what about us st holders, do you reckon they are waiting to see at the end of the year whether you want your money off a renewal or refund then?

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

If I was them I would take them off next years...

Good idea to deduct from next term because there is an awful lot of work for them to do to sort it now - but TF is a man of his word and will address it in the immediate future. Only thing is, like I said, these things take time. All good things and all that.

I would imagine they may give people a couple of options, refund or reduction from 2012/13 ticket.

It doesn't work to simply say reduce from next years, because that won't work for people that don't intend renewing next year for whatever reason.

Something doesn't add up to me.

TF said S/T holders would be written to with details of their refund in the new few days.
2 weeks later, nothing yet. Admittedly, Transfer deadline day took priority but not even an indication of how much would be refunded.

Matchday tickets seem to have been reduced by £5.

But I don't buy the "it's complicated and takes time" excuse. It didn't last time they refunded S/T holders (VAT refund ?)

In fact, if they offered me a refund now, I'd consider donating a percentage of it to a Youth Academy / Care in the Community project as previously mentioned by someone on here or elsewhere.
A show of gratitude for what TF & AB have done and if others did the same it would show them we can be as loyal and generous (in our own small way) also.

That said, I wouldn't be adverse to my refund being carried forward to a further reduction on Next Season's hopefully cheaper S/T.

I'll stop there before it becomes a love in.

Said in the matchday programme they are in the process of writing to each season ticket holder and as this likely involves the box office staff i imagine it might take some time.

I Wont turn down any refund probably better of next years ST, but didn't begrudge any of my match fee on Monday night, if that type of football and the calibre of player we are going to see playing for us in future my ST was worth every penny. only beef i have that we had to put up with all th S##t of T&C and i did begrudge it going into their pockets.
