I think he'll be better now with good players around him prepared to run into spaces for the ball. Last season, I think he was frustrated because players couldn't read his game and passes. Maybe that's why he tried to do more himself.
He's definitely got the playmaker mould in him. His vision is extraordinary at times for finding unthinkable through balls. I've noticed that a few times.
Adel was incredible I thought, In other games he can hold the ball for too long but he was the perfect balance of skill and passing. His passing in particular impressed me, the weight and accuracy of some of them were perfect.
With Derry, Faurlin and now Barton behind him mopping up, he became a lot more freer to do his stuff. Also, as mentioned is playing with a better quality of player who can read him better.
But think the main difference in his play is that he seemed a lot happier on the pitch, knowing his role was made easier and not as frustrating for him as last year where there wasn't that quality around him. He looked more of a team player than a one-man show-boater.

Thats exactly it mate. Now he seems to have gotten his match fitness up after his "will he / wont he go" summer, I have no doubt in my mind that Adel will go on and prove himself on the big stage.... starting with a screamer on Sat!! hes def due 1
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

All true and the other big improvement as someone already said is the speed with which he released the ball. It makes him twice the player when he sees the pass and makes it
