Hey this is QPR?, the question is who leaked out the figures if they are true.

I doubt we have done anything wrong, but I do suspect us to have paid a lot up front to varoius parties for Joey and I do suspect it not in the normal parameters in order to help get around any wages rules that FIFA my introduce (alot like Man City and there sponsorship for the staduim).

It would also mean that we are a going concern while living in the premiership as the weekly wage will be managable, if the money has come out of the owners pocket and not as a loan.

But as i said i doubt if it will be against any rules.
One for all.... and all for one

If something is wrong, which I don't beleive there is, then I hope it's sorted straight away rather than wait til the Man C away game, last match.
Neil will really think he is jinxed when it comes to him staying in the prem.

Even The Sun has said it, no rules broken.

Unfortunately, they don't like their man Custis to look like a mug and a bit more mud flung at us all helps them to look less stupid.

Gutter journalism based on a personal vendetta. IMO of course!

                Main thing for me.

The way it says: "Although there is nothing wrong with McKay being paid, it is the size of the possible fee that has raised eyebrows." is just ridiculous if you ask me.

Thats like investigating Eto'o wages at his new Russian club as, theres nothing wrong with paying him as much as you like, but the amount he is being paid raises eyebrows.

I am judging from afar without knowing the details, but it seems to me like within the Football industry (and the FA in particular) there are a few too many people out to try and justify their existance.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Here we go again! I think the sun has it's daggers out for us since we made them look stupid over their article that we we were sure to get a points deduction last season. Now looking for something else to vindicate that we are a dodgy club.
I seriously hope we haven't F##ked up or the F.A. will come down on us and make sure we are relegated this year. After last year I hope we learnt our lesson Poor Neil must think what the F##k is going on. Hope G.P. was nowhere this deal.

Sorry if I'm being thick who's urging the FA to investigate?

All this has done is open a can of worms in the changing room, where people will be knocking on doors asking for more.

Just seen this in the mail

Taarabt asks for pay rise to reflect value at QPR, despite being stripped of captaincy

Queens Park Rangers forward Adel Taarabt wants a new contract to put him in line with the club’s top earners, even though he has just been stripped of the club captaincy.

The Morocco international led the Loftus Road club to Barclays Premier League promotion last season but has been forced to hand the armband to new signing Joey Barton - news revealed by Sportsmail on Monday morning.

Even with all those direct quotes for Neal Warnock and Peter Beard ?

Rangers boss Neil Warnock was shocked to hear the possible numbers.

He gasped: "No chance, no chance."

But then he admitted he had no idea what had been paid out. He said: "All I know is he (Barton) was on a Bosman and he's a lot cheaper than Scott Parker but I don't know the details. I know nothing about it."

Last night QPR's chief executive Peter Beard vehemently disputed the £2.5m figure, insisting it was way off the mark, but he refused to give any official information.

The club do not believe any rules have been broken.

Beard said: "I am not going to confirm any of the club's private transactions."
