You beat me to it Nodge. We are going to concede against the better sides home and away and we are also going to concede away against the weaker ones. All of which means we need to produce in front of goal. Not panicking yet, though. We didn't have a prolific target man last season and we seeed to do OK. But we do need the likes of Tabs and Wright-Phillips to start banging them in, and also a contribution from Faurlin and Barton.

The 3 promoted sides have scored just 4 goals between them in 12 outings;a stark reminder of how tough it's going to be to win points in this league, and it's only by hitting the back of the net regularly that we can afford to feel in any way confident of survival.
We will survive, but let's hold back the schadenfreude.

Too much giddiness over a home 0-0 draw with a team who will finish in the bottom half.

When Barton and SWP are fully integrated and the latter match fit, we will create more and more chances. even without the new boys we made 19 chances at Wigan but still didn't score.
The thing you need in this league more than anything is a bit of luck - and we are due some.
With the quality provided last night, we will score goals and I say to those who think we will struggle.

If by the window it is a clear problem we will add a goal scorer but I think Bothroyd will get a good few, when given a proper go so will DJC and the midfield has plenty of goals in it too.

I agree. We won't be in a relagtion battle. No way
            Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
            And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I would add Fulham to that list.
