  • Ours subs bench last night

    was:
    murphy
    buz
    smith
    puncheon
    hall
    connolly
    dj

does anybody feel like me that we need to have some alternatives on the bench.. i mean its a great thing to complain about but i felt when bothroyd went off we missed our target man.

I also would rather hill on the bench over connolly and im sure he wasn't banned yesterday.. or am i wrong?

additionally was helguson injured because he is a good player to bring on to do a similar job to bothroyd. and could accomodate dj campbell more with flick ons and holdup play.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
    Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Not sure we need both Hall and Connolly as Connolly can cover the entire back 4, that said if 2 got injured we'd be screwed.

TBF, what a great worry to have, that we have good players that can't even make our subs bench.....

I looked at the subs bench and just thought "quality" - we would have been happy with all of those in the starting eleven a month ago.

I think a good sub would be to replace Derry at some points when he's run out of steam, and push Barton in with Faurlin and see what Buz can do, seems to link up well enough with Tarbs.

Agree! I think it's in our mindset to look for a problem which isn't there. We all thought we were in for a long hard season but instead we're at the beginning of a bright new era and rather than looking at all the positives people still have concerns.

We beat Everton with our Championship side and now we've got a new side which needs time to gel and we have a chance of not only being competitive against the bigger teams but also a real chance of survivng - two things that exactly a month ago didn't look like happening.

                  Have faith people!

No he wasn't, he missed three games, Everton, Rochdale and Wigan.
