Didnt go tonight and watched it on sky but the noise from our fans, the performance from the team gave me goose bumps. The movement from the front players, and the chances we created gave me so much belief for the rest of the season. This game brought back memories of some of our great teams of the past. I'm not getting carried away by one performance but i'm really confident of a mid-table finish now if we dont pick up too many injuries

We played well enough to beat an average Barcodes team on another day, albeit a Barcodes team that has started the season well. A little too much giddiness over the performance on the whole on this forum.

We played really well and didn't win a number of times in 96 iirc. Not saying we'll go down cos I don't think we will, just saying that we need to judge where we are in 5 or 6 more games.

Iwas listening to 5live commentary on radio. Started on MW and crowd noise was immense; so noisey it was drowning out the commentary. I then switched to DAB brodcast and the crowd noise was very muted...... I'm assuming they were using that technology they developed in the World Cup to suppress the drone of vuvuzelas. Suggests to me that the support last night was akin to the racket of a million vuvus - pretty impressive!
