I would have thought the fairest way for the club to proceed is to put the badge issue to a supporters' vote. That comes with the added advantage of being good PR and keeping that sense of involving fans.

If you change it to one design someone will have wished it were another and if you change the mascot someone will want the existing - it's a no win situation and quite frankly the time, effort and money to make changes is better spent on finding new sponsorship, recruiting a club secretary, setting up an academy and a more extensive scouting network.
Will a badge and a mascot keep the club a competitive business? Will a badge and a mascot keep the team a competitive force? Neither make a lot of (or any) difference to the future of the club and the team.

Some potential new fans will wrongly in my opinion choose a club by this means IE if you as a young person arrive in London to live and think I am going to choose a prem team around London to support, would the old badge inspire you to choose QPR over any of the others!! Because I love Qpr i had no choice re the badge but it was plain to see the old badge was not very good.
Truth be known that most calling for it back are just being nostalgic and cant see the implications of cost and future growth of fan base which is needed.

And before you say it i am not pro tango and cash far from it but realisticly they did do good for the club, there down fall was they treated the fans like mugs which was a very bad move and had no interest but to make moneyDyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

I like to think of winning the trophy we missed out on 35 years ago, when I look at the badge.Anyway bottom line for me is if they do change it or not,its the players in the shirts not the badge, and I'll still be an R.

I strongly dislike the new badge, which is a big move forward for me as previously I absolutely hated it. Now if they stripped away the ridiculous flowery bits that would do me fine.
I am sure we would all would accept that we have far more important things to worry about than the badge.
But there are three reasons why I hate it.
Firstly it symbolises Flav using Queen's Park Rangers football club as his plaything.
Secondly it illustrated his ignorance and contempt for our history.
And finally to rub salt into the wounds this so called 'modern' badge is simply a re-working of Flav's 'Billionaires' brand. Thats how much effort he put into it.
Like I said before I do understand that we have more pressing things to worry about, like our next result, but thats why I hate the current badge.
