    Team for me will be

    Kenny
    Young Gabbidon Ferdinand Traore
    Faurlin Barton
    SWP Taarabt Smith
    Bothroyd

Think Derry will come into the team for several away games. Taarabt cant start out wide, team still needs to be around him. He is the main man, main attraction and main threat. Wasted talent out wide and wont do defensive work which Smith and SWP need to do

My suggestion, provided Dyer is fit again:

      Kenny

      Dyer Young Ferdinand Traore

      Barton Derry

      Campbell SWP Taarabt

      Bothroyd

Bench: Murphy, Connolly, Orr, Gabbidon, Faurlin, Buzacky, Puncheon

Unfair on Smith I know, but couldn't find a place for him, unless he is replacing one of the three defenders.

Could well be that Warnock prefers Faurlin alongside Barton rather than Derry.

If Dyer isn't fit or risked I think Gabbidon will play instead, most likely in central defence with Young taking up his regular right back position.

Whatever team we field it is a massive step forward! Imagine Barton, Taarabt and Wright-Phillips in the same team for QPR - just amazing! Wouldn't know where to fit in Beckham!

Me thinks... 4-2-1-2-1 Joey to have the hole.

        _______Derry___________Faurlin_______

He'll never play DJ up top on his lonesome. No height, whatsoever to challenge the big CB's from crosses, and we can't rely on defenders for corners.

I like Dj alot, think hes a cracking goalscorer, but as you say, he isnt the sort to be able play up top on his own. In the system we play Bothroyd is perfect for that role with his ability to hold the ball up an lay it off into the paths of the oncoming Barton, Adel and SWP.

DJ's not the tallest but he certainly can get on the end of crosses using his excellent movement, he scored from corners last season and Blackpool played him up front on his own, they didnt hoof it towards him obviously but I think we can follow their example.

I really hope we give 4-3-3 a try.

                  Kenny

                  Young Ferdinand Gabbidon Traore

                  Barton Derry Faurlin

                  SWP Bothrord Taarabt.

Excellent balance, Should bring the most out of Faurlin and Barton.

well many of us are agreeing on the barton, derry and fourlin midfield surely one of the shrewdest midfields in the country

I think warnock will probably go for that too. That would be my choice away from home but at home I'd like to see us give it a real go and play swp, bothroyd, adel and puncheon/smith/campbell.

That's the team with DJ coming on for Derry if we are chasing the game and Puncheon prob replacing Adel late on if Adel is doing an Adel.

Heidar plays the role really well imo.Everybody has go about Hill But don't remember him letting us down last year.Old pro knows more than one way to skin a cat.Smith? very under-rated and works hard for the team. I can't wait to see what the team is on Monday and see how they play together. The beauty of this thread is that it highlights how much depth we now have and different options.

Seeing the new players on SSN earlier it sunk in just how brilliant our transfer window business has been, pre as well as post Fernandez's takeover. Below is a potential team of new signings and on paper is a great side in it's own right. How many other clubs in the bottom half of the prem have signed anyone to match this quality....?

                                Trani
                                Young Gabbidon Ferdinand Traore
                                SWP Barton Dyer Puncheon
                                DJ Bothroyd

As for Monday, i would play:

                                Kenny
                                Young Gabbidon Ferdinand Traore
                                Barton Derry
                                SWP Buzsaky Taraabt
                                Bothroyd
