  • Our official record signing ?

I'm aware most don't care and will say value for Money is more important, but that aside is it true to say that SWP is our new record signing at £3 million, despite it being undisclosed fee or is Sheron from 15 years ago still our "official"" record signing, anyone know for sure

No way we paid 4m for Ferdinand who was in the last year of his contract. We spent circa 8million over the last window which includes fees for SWP,Ferdinand,Young,Campbel,Traore plus a loan fee for Puncheon. I very much doubt we exceeded the 3.2 for Sheron. The more important move is not if we broke our record fee but that we blown our wage cap out of the water.

I fully expect we will pay more than 3.2 mill for at leat one player in Jan assuming we have a chance of staying up.

The fee on their official site said a fee that could eventually be worth £3 million,so probably only half that( or less) now

That's probably with loads of silly add-ons, like appearances and if we finish in the top ten or stay up for a certain amount of seasons.

Stoke officially quote it at £3.2m apparently and that was the figure bandied around by the FL. Think the initial fee was £2.75 and the add on's (all paid up when he moved to Barnsley) took it to £3.2
