  • What do you believe to be the priorities for QPR moving forward?

Academy? Mascot? Return of fan forums? New ground? More sponsorship? Jude?

Lots of debate on twitter as well as a couple of threads on here about fans tweeting Tony and Amit about Jude the Cat but what should be up for discussion and be a priority to move the club forward.

For me it's more sponsorship and a return of the academy. The bigger the signings the more the expensive it will get and sponsorship deals will go some way to cover the cost. An academy will allow us to bring players through which will ultimately reduce the cost of having to sign players from other clubs and mean we will have a larger pool of players to choose from than the 25 which have to be named.

      1) survival - jan window
      2) Academy
      3) new complex - stadium hotel /

Interim bigger international profile / increase in commercial sales and external corporate sales

I'd go along with what you said Sirpie. At the end of the day, changing the logo or bringing back jude the cat is at the bottom of my list. Sponsorship is a biggie,to subsidise costs of day to day running of the club. Also putting in a good infrastructure at the club,to pave the way for the bright young stars to come through the ranks at QPR instead of being picked up by Chelsea or Ar$enal. But the biggest priority is to keep Rangers in the Prem!!
I came here to chew gum and kick ass,and I'm all outta gum!

Conducted a straw pole of board members and clearly the badge, mascot, ladies toilets and death by public hanging for GP and far more important than building for the future, both in terms of stadia and youth development.

Short term priority = year 1 survival in the prem and to try and off load some of the very expensive dead wood - after that, academy develoment, improved training facilities and new ground to increase revenue to enable medium to long term self sufficiency.

              Sponsorship / revenue generation
              Capacity crowds
              Survival
              Progression
              Academy development
              Survival
              Progression
              etc
              etc
              etc
              Possibly new ground

I know an academy is the politically correct answer but this will take several years to produce fruit, and even then it has to earn its keep - we did have an academy and in its last few years it didn't produce a single player that really established himself in the first team. So yes, great long term but more immediately we need to get sponsorship, off-load as much dead wood as we can and utilise marketing opportunities to produce more funds to help Neil in January if we are hovering anywhere near the relegation zone.

Ps: perhaps like you slightly embarrassed if fans are pestering the owners about Jude, lavatories, badges etc.

Academy , build profile around the globe by staying in prem. Stay in local area. (even though I don't live nearby anymore). Keep involving the fans and communicating

Survival in prem is more important than academy at the mo - as once established prem- we can attract better kids and academy products will take 3 years to produce absolute quickest

variable heat settings in the ovens at the pie selling counters at loftus road.

judging by that balti pastry i had at the rochdale game, they only have one setting - incinerate-roof-of-mouth. that b*stard pie was hotter than the fruits of satan's bottom. could have been hedgehog pie for all what remained of my taste buds could tell.
                            come on you r's!
