    Think Before You Tweet

I think we all love having the opportunity to "tweet" players and the owners about everything and anything but in all seriousness the tweets about the mascot, about the badge and about trivial things in my opinion will end in the owners and players coming off Twitter altogether. I'm currently looking after WATRBS twitter page and must say Twitter does have it's benefits but even we (and we are nothing in terms of followers) are getting some bizarre messages so I wonder what it must be like for Amit and Tony receiving constant suggestions? Eventually instead of being able to communicate to the masses they'll no doubt get fed up with all the messages of "I know what to do" and leave Twitter and then the moans about not being communicated will start.

Therefore can I suggest that you seriously think about what is being asked and look at your timeline or their tweets to see if others have already asked the same question and therefore yours is not needed. Alternatively set up a poll on here and ask people to consider your question and direct Tony and Amit to this site.

Agreed, if you've got something good to say then say it but don't be silly or it's going to annoy Tony, Amit, Phillip and the players like crazy
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Good post SirPie, but that made me chuckle.

Can just imagine Tony & Amit spending an hour on here, having a good old belly laugh at some of the suggestions, insults and what they will come to enjoy as good old fashioned "Banter".

Don't suppose it will be long before someone disagrees with their running of the club and asks them to meet for "a chat" .

Luckily I think our fans are generally very positive towards the players and board members on Twitter. I do see the odd comment where I cringe or scratch my head.

Some of the abuse players get by other fans on Twitter is crazy, especially after a bad result.

I think you're reading into things too much there fella. Twitter has a character restriction to prevent long draw out messages. It don't take long to filter out the garbage from the good stuff and given its on your mobile it can keep you amused whilst having a no. 2!

You are probably right but I wonder what they thought when a message was sent to them saying something like "you are great I want to go gay with you".

Brighton, I think you are right about the directing to this site as well but I think what this does show is probably the need for fans forums so that people have the opportunity to say more than 140 characters and a proper consultation can take place.

                  Agree SirPie.

And Dazzer, it doesn't take 140 characters to call someone a ****.

Yes unfortunately every football club has it's plonkers, and they are often amongst the more vocal ones. Combine that with what is basically a direct line to the owners office and you're asking for trouble!

Fella you're not going to be able to stop every idiot out there. Most sensible folk have enough brain cells to not waste their time sending stuff like this. There is nothing stopping someone setting up a spoof account and sending stuff like that all day long. In fairness I reckon you've given that message more thought than Amit or Tony would of.

Who's to say its not some sad supporters from another team trying to russell some feathers and get a reaction. When you put yourself in the firing line you kind of have to allow for the odd knob jockey or two to pass comment.

who made you milk moniter? "Therefore can I suggest that you seriously think about what is being asked and look at your timeline or their tweets to see if others have already asked the same question and therefore yours is not needed. Not sure we should be directing Tony and Amit to any site where discussion on certain QPR related topics is prohibited because it doesn't coincide with the views of one of the site's co owners.
