If you look for it you get it. I go to football to watch qpr and have a day out with mates and my old man and to have some beers. If you stick your fingers up or shout at someone, expect a clip round the ear.

A very simplistic but accurate assessment of the facts of life when following your team.

Never read so much rubbish in my life,Spurs is one of the safest grounds in the country to visit, over the years have watched many games at Spurs and never seen any trouble.

They detest Arsenal,West Ham,Chelsea and Millwall, also Cardiff took a battering down their, Rangers not even on their radar.

Go and enjoy, great ground and atmosphere should be a good day.

Apart from the days of getting pelted from above by coins I am inclined to agree about the ground, but the trip back to the tube is usually a bit hairy

            dont

dont forget in the old days, qpr used to attack spurs fans at loftus road so there was always a bit of trouble after the games, including a few stabbings
But in the last fifteen years qpr and spurs have become close friends so there is going to be hardly any trouble at spurs away, the one and only game to stay away from if you are not happy to stand your corner will be chelsea away,i cant see much trouble at arsenal or fulham away..........SO I PREDICT A PEACEFULL AWAY GAME AT TOTTENHAM

You have gone back a long time since Spurs fans were above you,we will have top and bottom tier,go to White Hart Lane station which is 5 minutes from ground and 20 minutes to Liverpool Street.

Parking is plentiful on a Sunday and you can be on North circular in no time.

Just a warning on the parking. London Borough of Haringey implemented a "controlled parking zone" for matchdays (inc Sunday's) a couple of years ago. This basically means that unless you have a residents permit, you are unable to park on the street within a 1 mile radius of the ground. However, within that radius there are still plenty of warehouses and factories that you can park in for around a tenner a time. Also, IKEA, Tesco's and Sainsbury's (all within walking distance just off the North Circ) have huge car parks but all employ ultra vicious attendants on match days to clamp any supporters.

Plenty of street parking around a 15 minute walk or 1 mile radius as you say, especially Edmonton end,I will head for pub called Gillpin Bell as i am with a load of ***s,apart from that pubs are in a very short supply around the ground, they are either home fans only or have shut down.

Been told they is a large Catholic club next to White Hart Lane station where a lot of away fans end up,beer is meant to be ****.

Better off drinking at Liverpool street then head for the ground.

I remember getting coined there and rushed from bods climbing over the fencing from the shelf side. Plus we were getting thumped 4 or 5 - 1, to make matters worse a certain C.Allen scored for the Spuds.
Surely we must sell 3k tickets in our first season back for 15 years or so!

Rangers fans from North and East London, Herts and Essex, it's a doddle by train or car. Pain in the backside anywhere south of the A4, granted.
get a tube to either Liverpool Street or Seven Sisters, then an overground train to White Hart Lane station and it's a short walk from there.
