Personally, I'd play Derry and Barton holding, giving Barton the freedom to roam, with Buzz behind the forward, and Taarabt and SWP either side. That'd be a potent line up.

agree with that. Buzz has done well this season and deserves his place. Faurlin is a great player but hasn't been as good as derry. Question is who plays up front?

Thats my opinion on what will happen as well tbh.

              Kenny
              Young Ferdinand Gabbidon Traore
              Dery Faurlin
              SWP Barton Adel
Bothroyd (although I would like to see DJ there myself).

                Spot on.

I think Derry has to keep his place as been our best player, and Buz also who i'd say has been our second best player. Faurlin is good we all know that, but i think he's found it a bit harder than others adapting to the pace of the Prem and been caught on the ball more than normal, or rushed his passes.

I keep hearing people saying Joey is more than a defensive player, so shouldn't be exoected to be one of the 2 sitting midfielders, but i disagree. In a typical 4 you tend to have one sit and one attack when the opportunity is there, and this is no different as long as you have disciplined players, which they both are, (with regards to tactics, not kicking people in the head), he can definitely play there, which also allows Buz (or another on a given day) to play in the advanced 3 behind Bothroyd to allow even more attack minded play and creativity.

Another good side. It is a sign of a bit of strength in depth the fact we can name a variety of very strong sides. I like this side mentioned Ginge and, IMO, i would have DJ up top as he proved last year he is a natural goalscorer. But I can see the arguement that, with our system, Jay up there holding the ball and laying off for SWP Barton & Adel could work really well. Decisions eh, glad Sir Neil is making them and not me!!

Depth in all areas, with the flexibility among the type of players we have is great now. I mean we could have:

                    Paddy
                    Young, Gabbidon, Ferdinand, Traore
                    Derry, Barton
                    SWP, Buz, Taraabt
                    Bothroyd

                    Potential subs:
                    Connolly
                    Hall
                    Faurlin
                    Dyer (when fit)
                    Puncheon
                    Smith
                    DJ
                    HH
                    Andrade
                    Perone

Lots of quality, even on the bench, and there's not many i'd have a concern about doing a job in the prem, with the retention of a number of experienced players around them, which we will always have now, even if the odd one gets injured....

                    Good times.

If everyone was fit, I'd still stick with this line up...

                        Bothroyd
                        Adel Buzz SWP

                        Derry Barton

                        Traore Anton Gabbidon Young

                        Paddy

Subs - Murphy, Connolly, Hall, Faurlin, Dyer, Smith, Campbell

I'd keep Connolly as he can replace Traore or Young if injured, and Hall for the CB cover. Faurlin and Campbell have to be in the matchday squad, with Smith and Dyer both over Puncheon for me.

I genuinely think that team is more than good enough to cause a couple of upsets.

Without doubt mate. The talented in that line up, combined with the fighting spirit Sir Neil will install throughout the dressing room will mean a fair few sides will leave Loftus Road with nothing I reckon!

NW has been after Puncheon for some time and if he is fit, I can't see him not starting. With SWP & Joey Barton playing, it will be interesting to see who plays and where NW plays them, as some big players are going to miss out.

I would go with the following, if they are all 100% fit.

                              ------------------- Kenny -------------------
                              - Young - Ferdinand - Gabbidon - Traore -
                              ------------ Derry ------ Barton ------------
                              -- SWP ------ Adel/Buzz ------ Puncheon --
                              ------------------ Campbell ------------------
