Yeah he could prove to be a good player for us,but the problem is it seems things haven't changed that much. Managers buy players and i very much doubt this has anything to do with our managerial team. It smacks of a player being bought in from above again.

In fairness i wont judge him until i see him play, but, after that argie signing the other day i did hope the board might spend abit more.
Id like someone like ameobi, but id also be happy to take a chance on lita or beckford.

This guy could turn out to be brilliant, but with thoughts of perejo in the back of my mind i just find it hard to get very excited when a unknown walks through the door!
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

        Bought from above..??? Not sure

We still don';t know its him, but the love the fact we automatically asume

3.5 million signing is definitely JM or JG, but a another player no-one has heard, that may be cheaper is a buy from above.

Faurlin appears on paper to be a JG signing, as Ipswich signed Civelli last year and tried for a couple of other Argentinians...

of course could be coincedence but a bit unlikely...

as for our Serie B boy, even if we were spending £5m on him it would still cme across as a GP signing....

Magilton is hardly known for his knowledge of obscure Italian lower league strikers

WHAT THE HELL DOES GORMAN AND MAGILTON HAVE TO DO TO MAKE PEOPLE BELIEVE THEY SIGNED A PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Instantly "oh it must be one of flavios boys, or must be a mate of gp's".....

            Give it a rest!

you didn;t by any chance, give the club stick for selling Cook in the first place to Fulham?

                Shirley not..

Give Cookie a break, he will come back to his best and he doesn't need people like you sticking the boot in. We have very short periods of supporting players and that really gets right on my big t.its. Maybe if Sousa, played him regular, we would have done better!! Before you say it, he did not play left wing all the time and improved as the season unfolded.

As for Italian or Argentinan players all of us do NOT know who wanted the player, we can only assume. I'm not convinced because Ipswich fans compare him top the other Argentinian that it was JG or JM purchase, I just don;t know!!. No-one does.

You can also say, if he'd been fit, Sousa might have picked him more regularly.

But you won't let it go...

I wasnt having a dig at Cookie, not at all. My point was why buy someone when they are not 100% fit. I love Cookie, what he did for us when he left for Fulham will prob never be repeated by anyone but we resigned him on a long contract when he was not fully fit. Not once last season did he put in a performance that shadowed the Lee Cook we saw before we sold him. Thats not good business in my eyes. Paladini signed him so Paladini's at fault.

I'll let it go, but Cook was asked to play behind a diamond more than once. anyway, as you say we've moved on.

WE WERE NOT ALLOWED TO CROSS THE BALL
Cook will be a different player this season, mark my words.

I can see where you are coming from in terms of how Cook was played out of position and i do hope you are right about seeing an improved Cook this season. He's one of us at the end of the day.

cook was a sentiment signing and he was a shadow of the player he was, call me harsh if you like but cook,s career is on the downward spiral since that injury.
what the hell was god thinking of when he thought of hamsters?
