I posted on the Ashes thread how it reminds me of these threads - hardly anyone has seen this guy (if anyone) and yet he is no good. It's the same on the Ashes thread, Pete stated that your bowlers are better than ours - he based this on his intimate knowledge of Siddle, Hilfenhaus, Johnson and Hauritz - i am sure he has seen them all play many times and yet these guys took 19 wickets to your guys 6. How about you let the guy show what he can do and then make a decision on his ability (or lack thereof).
PS: this is not a go at your cricket team, but merely an observation of how players are judged based on limited information.
