  • Taarabt goes to War for pay rise.

According to the People this morning.Taarabt wants parity with Barton (£65k a week),and SWP (£55K).The People believes he's on around £25k and he has a contract that runs to 2013 but has a break clause that allows him to leave next summer if a decent offer comes along.

Also virtually a full page on Jay Bothroyd and his England ambitions.

Sorry I can't find the articles on the internet so am unable to provide links.

taarabt needs to prove he is worth 65k a week first. he hasnt done anything in the prem whereas barton and SWP have.

On current form not worthy of his 'paltry' £25k a WEEK never mind nearly trebling it.

if this is true get him out in january, why cant he just get on with his football play well and go in january we cant be doing with his unrest over wages he signed the contract and if he cant cope with £25k pw then im afraid thats life.

We've got Joey Barton & SWP now so he's not the star man anymore.

Obviously feels he is in his own (or his agents deluded minds)

Would love him to stay, get fit & tear the Prem up but tbh if true biggest bid in January wins. Too disruptive.

Saying that as W12 said its probably all b0llox.

                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

I'd say sell him rather than pay that kind of wages to him. £10m in jan, buy 1 decent CB and a striker!

Doesn't want to train, thinks he can just turn up and be the star man. Didn't work at spurs and won't with us in the perm. Whether it is him or his agent/hangers on that are feeding him this rubbish they/he needs to take a long hard look at themselves.

There were no offers for him and the won't be until he proves himself in the perm and to be honest that is unlikely unless his attitude changes dramatically. To be honest think he wil be lucky to play as strongly believe WArncok will play 4-3-3 with Derry, Faulin and Barton in midfield and Bothroyd, Swp and either Campbell or Puncheon up front.

They are proven prem players and can command that type of money, when he has proven himself maybe then he can ask for a raise, but at the moment let him throw his toys out of his pram and if he's not happy see who wants him, because he's not going to get a lot more from anyone, anywhere until proven.

It's just the people trying to stir something up. Don't think they've ever got anything QPR right

Is anyone concerned about what could really be disruptive to our team effort: the disparity in wages, leaving aside Adel's already hefty wages, because I bet most of the players are getting much less than Adel. How do they feel about few "elite" newcomers getting 5-10 times more than they do, do they think it is fair considering the team effort?

Until they have proved themselves in the premiership like the newcomers have they cannot really quibble.
