Altho I expect the "facts" of this article leave a lot to be desired, I've expected him to make a bit of a fuss due to much lower wages and get his agent bagering the owners for more. If there hasn't already been an informal chat, I would expcect there to be soon.

We all know he needs to prove himself in the prem to justify a rise, but I'm sure he still believes he's better than any of the new arrivals, regardless of their experience. I don't think its arrogance, but simply complete faith and confidence in his own ability. He will come good I'm certain, and I can't wait for it to click for him and for him to start raising eyebrows and having the pundits drooling after some sublime skill or wonder goal.

When that time comes and he performs consistently at a high level, he will have an argument.

This happens at most teams that go up - especially those that spend money. The current players, especially the more important ones want to get some equality in wages.

Their agents drive it becaue their agants only make money from the deals they get their players. Pay risw or moves, thats what agents want.

Find it ridiculous that people will have a go at Adel for being greedy when comparing him to SWP who chose to take money and sit on a bench before.

Most footballers are greedy because they are often arrogant and driven by agents - Adel is no different, he just makes better headlines right now - especially as QPR seem to be one of the 5 most talked about clubs as far as I can see.

If true: 1. Get fit. 2. Prove yourself at this level.

unproven at the top level........if his attitude reflected his worth he'd be picking up bones from a kfc in grimsby.the boy has a lot to learn and i think that the premiership players will put him right. neil needed and put up with his sithe last season-now he has a tough changing room to take care of internal affairs. will be interesting.

This paper, load of tosh. But, say this is true....warnock can use to our advantage. Prove your the best player we have and we'll make you best paid in December (but increase contract by a year or 2)....then sell in summer for a nice profit.

In the interest of playing Devils Advocate -

All those tantrums last season ? I only recall Hull Away - so when were the rest ?

Ask yourself, why no other Prem clubs were interested or bidding for him ?
Because don't have a Manager with the wit or wisdom to handle him. Believe me, virtually ALL Prem side are watching virtually all Prem, Champ players on a weekly basis. Adel has a reputation, one it's hard to shake off. Also the rumoured price of £12/£15m with PSG was probably too high for most to take a gamble.

Sadly, this thread will always encourage those who have no time for him to jump on and spout their bile. Some above have actually written him off as a Premiership player......at 21 !
Thankfully, we have NW making such decisions.

I don't think he is our PotY though.......

Probably a load of ********. Either way he can't even manage to get himself in half decent shape at the moment, so he's dreaming if he thinks any will ever pay 65k!

The only reason he was captain last year was to massage his ego because he was needed at that level.

He was not player of the year and consequently did not stay very long at the POTY do !!!

He was our top goal scorer and did have most assists and for that I am eternally grateful as I am sure are the majority of fans. But all that would have been wasted if we had received a points deduction and needed a win against Leeds when he could't be bothered to turn up on time (and before you defend him he could not of known we wouldn't need the win)

Warnock has come out and stated his problem re training and that is the beginning of his loss of patience because he simply doesn't need him as much as did last year.

Hopefully Tarrabt will see the light and change his outlook but I would't hold your breath and I think you will soon see Warnocks opinion when he fails to make the team.

                                True.

But he could have least have stayed fit...... given that he was probably about to play in the PL.
