Most parents have an active role in their childrens decisions when they are still so little.

When Ian Wright first broke into the England team when he was at Palace, my mate (a Palace fan who was living in Australia at the time) met him and the rest of the England Team when they were out there. Wrighty said he would let my mate have a souvenir of the tour and arranged to meet him in the hotel lobby the next morning. Unbelievably my mate overslept! Realising he was late and sprinted to the lobby where Wrighty had waited over 20 minutes to give him a pair of his socks. Can't imagine any of the current England players doing that can you?

swp in fairness didn't say Stoke came in late, just said one of the teams was stoke, so you're probably right. Pullis just always seems to be after players we want, Walters, Crouch and swp.

Great interview & as said by others I have a new found respect for Wrighty.

Really hit home how much Neil Warnock & TF made this move for SWP & the others possible.

              GOOD TIMES AHEAD!!

Great story and a credit to him. As you say, the majority of the primadonna's today wouldn't do a thing for anyone unless paid...

Always like Wright and a great player for Arsenal given his career kicked off at such a late age.

Thanks for letting me know, the quality of videos are much better and actally liked what Ian Wright had to say, hope this take over really is real and that I don't wake up and find Bernie & Flavio still in here.

I have no idea what our boards plans are but everyone seems to believe the hype and hope it goes to plan.

Just a little story with Ian Wright, when I was working as a photographer I saw his car being ticketed by a traffic warden, a mate of Ians started slapping this warden and it really did get nasty, anyway Wrighty appeared from his house obviously wondering what was going on and also started kicking off (only verbally though), a woman appeared (probably a neighbour) and started to call the ob whilst the warden was still getting a pasting, the best bit though was when you heard the ob sirens and Wrighty quickly disappeared back in to his house leaving them all to it. I got it all and it made quite a few papers the next day so all in all good day for me. Cheers Ian lol.
