I prefer to see a balanced debate both negative and positive, and try to respect all posters even tho I may not agree with their point.

My opinion is that Neil has taken a Championship winning and confident team into the prem, and has now at long last added some quality and prem experience, and his job is to make it work and get them to gel as a unit and boost the confidence, which will not be easy. These are good signings, especially Joey and SWP, but they have to perform to the level we know they should, and they need to fit style we play. So time will tell. I think it will work because Neil is good at what he does, and we'll finish just below mid-table.
A sensible and balanced post in particular reaffirming the undertaking that we should listen to views politely even where we disagree; no need to be Voltaire to get this.

Thanks, Gerry, actually I didn't think I was that negative, because after all QPR will either avoid or be relegated next season, and two of my scenarios were to avoid relegation! How someone thought than made me a Chel**** fan, I don't know, although I noticed in other posts that he loves to #### anyone off.

Every day I feel more confident in our team and look forward to some special days.

Best case scenario given I suspect you're a message board troll is that you'd do one and stop posting on here but I doubt that would happen.

Worse case scenario as a new poster if you want to be treated as if you're a real Rangers fan, given the last few weeks of positivity that's come out of the club, you'd begin by posting something better than this dross.

My decision is to add you to my ignore list until I get the impression you're a QPR fan and not some tool who supports someone else and spends their time trying to get a reaction from other clubs fans. Said my piece, some might not like it, but i dont mind, night!

That lines says it all for me. "Rangers" or "we'd" would would of been written.

We finish rock bottom and are relegated by March.
              LOL

But if our luck against Bolton amd Wigan continues I can see this happening.....

I thought your 1st post was quite harmless and inoffensive. Predictions in many other threads have us finishing between bottom and 2nd with a majority suggesting that we will hopefully just avoid relegation in 16th or 17th, so I've no idea why the reaction to your post was so severe. Once one or two decide it's negative then others seemed to join in, bizarre really, and I thought a bit unfair.

It's true you could be anyone and pretending to be an R, but usually theres more fishing and goading with trolls, so I'm not so sure....yet

Just wondering, how old are you mate, and how long a rangers fan? You seem quite young.

Welcome to the message board EpsomR, and sorry that you have to deal with this sort of abuse immediately. I think you're a little on the pessimistic side, but not too far out. And, I agree with you that the most likely case is that we narrowly avoid the drop.

Chill out lads, give the new poster a chance so we can see what he's about.

If I wanted to talk to a Chelsea fan I'd talk to the twasark who sits next to me at work rather than just look at him in disgust...

Thanks for that, Gerry. To be honest I didn’t think it was that negative for a newly promoted club. At the end of the day, the team will either avoid or be relegated this season and two out of three of the scenarios were to stay up. So it was a bit weird to be accused of being a Chel**** fan on that basis (although from someone who seems to like slagging people off on the board).
I am sure we will have ups and down, but look forward to every game.

Sorry about sending the last post twice, as I thought it didn't get through the first time (had been away for a few days)

Didn't realise that everyone on the board has had to justify themselves or is this a new initiation process.

Initiation test A. What was the score of QPR vs Southampton on saturday 30th feb 2003, and who scored?

Just kidding. So how long have you been an R, and how old are you?
