The bloke was told to come to training the next day (not much to expect seenig as its his farking job!) and he had a row with the coach, so Di Canio had obviously tried calming him down and Clarkes thrown a hissy fit. Total lack of respect and professionalism, as is becoming way too common with footballers.

Yes, Di Canio im sure ended up giving his fair share dont get me wrong, but Clarke instigated it all by being a total buffoon. No time for him whatsoever, given an opportunity in life that most of us would do horrible horrible thiings for (Id be arested and locked up for simply thinking the things id do to be a footballer!) and the arrogant pr**k acts like a spoilt kid.

    Rant over
I say again, why say that to a player when the game has just finished?? Wait until everyone back in dressing room and cooled down. Poor reaction from Clarke to being told to come in for training but I imagine he felt victimised....bit like Buz did.

Sorry mate but have to disagree on this. Why should there be times you can and cant tell a player he needs to attend training?

Thats like me flying off the handle at my boss for telling me after a stressful meeting that Im needed in the office next morning and my arguement being "why tell me now".
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Why? Because it's called man management. If your boss said to you straight after the meeting, good job but we need you in early tomorrow. FAir enough. But I don;t think that is what happened here atall. Game finished. Good job to other players and Clarke, get in tomorrow for training. Also, why grab clarke atall? If Clarke wants to behave like that, just leave him to it.

Exactly. You, nor I, nor any of us, know how it was said. And it wasnt just him called in for training was it? Apologies if Im wrong, but Im sure the whole team were called in and Clarke was just being told?

Im not saying the man management was good, it wa pretty shoddy, but how many of us have bosses with poor man management? you need to be half respectful to whos paying your wages and Clarkes has zero respect and seems to have the thinking that he needs to be at a bigger club when, in reality, his career as a professional footballer looks as though its coming to a close!

Di Canio's been a hot headed wind up merchant his whole career.

Clarke shouldnt of behaved like that be he obviously felt that he needed a rest after playing. It's been a while since he's played regular.

Di canio should've let him walk past. He knew what he was doing putting his arm around him and grabbing his shirt. He should of let him go then instead of going after him down the tunnel. As manager he didn't manage that very well.

You don't see warnock going toe to toe with taarabt during one of his strops.

I don't think he did. I get the distinct impression he was signed for him.

Turns out donkey Clarke asked for a move 2 days before the game anyway (PDC not aware until after the game otherwise wouldn't have played him) - ffs how do these wasters actually manage to earn a lucrative living?

Totally agree, probably because they have bloody good agents because it's often not ability.
When Clarkes name is mentioned, I would tend to drift towards supporting the manager in relation to any incident.
I agree some managers would have dealt with it differently but I like it when a manager acts with passion like a fan.
Warnock didn't act like that to Adel but warnock is bright enough to have worked out last season that Adel was a key player for getting us up and you have to take the good he brings with the bad, the same with Alex and shrek. Players however like Clarke bring nothing to the club but take everything, people always go on about football players living in a different world, high salaries and protected while the rest of us in our lives/jobs get shafted. I just think players have limited talent but act like prima donnas and have little respect for the club who pay high wages should get publicly dressed down more often.
