How was he unprofessional? He was the one trying to get it behind closed doors and away from the cameras. He may be a knob but he is bang right on this one - Clarke was a complete tool who caused it all.

        Sky Sports Mobile:
"Paolo Di Canio has told Leon Clarke he will never play for #Swindon again after Tuesday's bust-up. The striker will go out on loan next."

Hehe PDC seems just as italian (read: trigger happy and ill tempered) as our own (until recently thank god) mr. Orange. They would be a fine match mr. Orange and PDC. PDC would fire the players and put himself on the pitch, and mr. Orange would keep up the incoming flow of mussolini players. Thank god we have Amit & Fernandes now!

He clearly wouldn't let go of the bloke when clark wanted him to, which started the whole thing. Besides you honestly think he wasn't gobbing off thoughout that....

He was trying to get it away. Clarke was being a tool.

I always defended Leon as a person. He always struck me as an honest bloke. It seems I was wrong. Bitter that his career hasn't gone further.

He will probably get a game at Plymouth !!
But if there is one manager you don't want to fall out with it's PDC
Silly boy Leon - but that said it wasn't very professional what PDC said.
Shouldn't wash your dirty linen in public but i guess he had to respond after all
the bad press over this incident.

This. Di Canio did everything he could to get Clarke down the tunnel

Di canio’s just making it up in the interview. So, he said nothing to the Clarke other than “well done” and Di Canio said Clarke reacted like that “for no reason”??? Absolute crap. If you look at the footage, it’s Di Canio who is worked up not Clarke. I reckon it maybe similar to Buszacky and Magilton ie. Clarke missed a chance (Di Canio mentioned that in the interview), and Di Canio and his coaches blamed him for the defeat and called him lazy and unprofessional.

I think it's clear to a lot of people the body language of Di Canio is very relaxed and it is clarke that is publicly losing it. we have yet to hear Clarke's side of the story though.

So you think all that was said to Clarke was "well played mate"???

Just prior to the "ruck" Clarke was having a row with the fitness coach who advised him that shock horror he would have to be in for training the next day to do some running - I mean come on how dare he ask a footballer to do some training to earn his wedge - it descended from there.. He has been a lazy footballer wherever he has been how anyone can possibly stick up for him is beyond me.

At first i instantly took Clarkes side, what with Di Canio being a n0b IMO and all, but having seen it all, Clarke is the n0b in this case.

The bloke was told to come to training the next day (not much to expect seenig as its his farking job!) and he had a row with the coach, so Di Canio had obviously tried calming him down and Clarkes thrown a hissy fit. Total lack of respect and professionalism, as is becoming way too common with footballers.

Yes, Di Canio im sure ended up giving his fair share dont get me wrong, but Clarke instigated it all by being a total buffoon. No time for him whatsoever, given an opportunity in life that most of us would do horrible horrible thiings for (Id be arested and locked up for simply thinking the things id do to be a footballer!) and the arrogant pr**k acts like a spoilt kid.

                              Rant over
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Why tell him that just when the games' finished? Why try and drag him down the tunnel. Just head down the tunnel and leave him if he wants to stay outside.
